UT Health San Antonio's nationally recognized physicians and researchers are leading the way in advancing the treatment for HIV and AIDS.

Physicians at UT Health San Antonio are the experts in reliable HIV/AIDS testing, diagnosis and treatment. They are board certified and fellowship trained with decades of research and clinical experience.

Along with ongoing HIV care, our experts provide full service HIV testing and follow-up testing. We also provide Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEp) treatment and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) treatment.

Comprehensive HIV/AIDS care

Our specialists deliver a multidisciplinary approach to HIV and AIDS care. They will communicate, consult and collaborate with patient’s other medical specialists to develop individualized treatment plans designed for reducing the virus and its associated symptoms.

Optimal treatment is dependent upon early intervention and regular health evaluations. Our HIV and AIDS specialists have the expertise, vast experience, and modern resources needed to best serve our patients.

In addition to seeing patients at the Medical Arts & Research Center, our specialists have hospital admitting privileges as University Hospital in San Antonio, and also hold appointments at the Family-Focused AIDS Clinical Treatment Services (FFACTS) in downtown San Antonio.
