UT Medicine San Antonio is the faculty medical practice of the School of Medicine at The UT Health Science Center San Antonio and also includes the Cancer Therapy & Research Center (CTRC), which is one of the elite cancer centers in the country to be designated as a National Cancer Institute Cancer Center.
UT Medicine has locations around San Antonio with its "clinical home" in the South Texas Medical Center at 8300 Floyd Curl Drive. Called the Medical Arts & Research Center (MARC), the MARC building was specifically designed for optimal patient care with more than 200 physicians in nearly every branch of medicine. The MARC offers the best in academic medicine and the convenience of a modern, private practice setting with spacious waiting rooms, diagnostic labs and imaging on-site, a complete Day Surgery Center as well as a cafe on the first floor. Cancer Therapy & Research Center

The CTRC at The UT Health Science Center is one of the nation's leading academic cancer research and treatment centers. It is a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center, one of only four in Texas. CTRC provides a full spectrum of clinical and support services to meet the medical, nutritional, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient, from diagnosis through treatment, rehabilitation, discharge and follow-up care. The CTRC has an extensive research mission and is instrumental in developing new cancer drugs and other treatments.
