Neurological rehabilitation can help build strength and coordination, which is very important in recovery.

Neurological physical therapists are trained to treat patients with movement problems due to disease or injury of the nervous system such as spinal cord injury, stroke, Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. These conditions can cause difficulty with mobility and basic activities of daily living, as well as falls and difficulty walking.

Our physical therapists will complete a comprehensive evaluation to determine your strength, sensation, balance, flexibility, and safety and then create a specialized treatment plan. Your treatment plan may include therapeutic exercise, functional electrical stimulation, functional skill training, manual therapy for pain relief, and balance and gait training to help you regain strength and mobility. We also specialize in wheelchair mobility evaluation and homecare equipment selection.

For more information about our various treatment options, please contact 210-450-9680 to make an appointment.
