We have formed educational partnerships with Laredo Community College and Texas A&M International University to bring allied health education programs to Laredo. Using distance learning and on-site education, people who live in Laredo will not have to leave home to go to school.

  • Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies –
    The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) has a collaborative partnership with Texas A&M International University (TAMIU). This partnership will facilitate the acceptance of TAMIU students into the Physician Assistant Studies (PAS) educational program in San Antonio. After completion of the core curriculum and prescribed program prerequisites at TAMIU, students may apply for acceptance into the UTHSC-San Antonio PAS program. Upon acceptance, students will transfer to San Antonio for the first two years of the PAS program and may be able to return to Laredo for clinical training during the last year of the program.
