Teri grew up in the small rural town of Ganado, Texas, 100 miles south of Houston.
She graduated from Ganado High School in 2000, and attended St. Edward's University
in Austin for one year before transferring to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
She was working towards a degree in psychology when she was accepted to the PA program.
She had no health care experience upon entering PA school. Her current plans are to
eventually work in Primary Care in a small Texas town, although she
admits that this may change after completing the year of clinical rotations.
