CURRICULUM FOR BS DEGREE IN CLS
WITH TRACKS IN CYTOGENETICS AND MOLECULAR DIAGNOSTICS

General education requirements, prerequisites and electives are completed during years 1, 2, 3. The applicant must have a minimum of 90 semester credit hours before applying for these tracks. General education requirements are the same for all BS degrees in the SAHS. These are listed in the viewbook.

1Requirement for molecular track. Students must take CLSC 3073 molecular and immunologic diagnostics and CLSC 3072 molecular and immunologic diagnostics laboratory if immunology is not taken as a prerequisite.
2Biochemistry may be substituted for cell biology.
3highly recommended for both cytogenetics and molecular diagnostics tracks
