Upon faculty evaluation and approval, credit for Level I professional coursework at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio will be given to those students who have an associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology/Clinical Laboratory Technology program (such as the program at Laredo Community College) and who are certified as a Clinical Laboratory Technician (National Certification Agency - NCA) or Medical Laboratory Technician (American Society of Clinical Pathologists – ASCP).
