The Department of Dental Laboratory Technology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is committed through its faculty to provide continuing education programs to the practicing dental health care professionals in the Texas community, thereby assisting them in staying abreast of their fields and in meeting certification requirements as mandated by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.
Continuing education programs are presented several times a year, depending on the needs and responses of the Texas dental community. These programs are administered on a cost-recovery basis. Appropriate topics for continuing education may include any subject that has the potential of improving the effectiveness or efficiency of dental health care providers. The department tries to present at least one, and sometimes two, large CE events annually. Please check this site for announcements or contact the department by phone or email. The department informs the Texas dental community of its Continuing Dental Education Program schedules and upcoming CDE events through mail-out brochures.
