Our
Mission
Repair With Care is a service oriented
community medicine project that is focused on performing minor
repairs on select homes for the underprivileged elderly
citizens that utilize the services provided by the
Madonna
Neighborhood
Center in Southwest
San Antonio,
Texas. Many of these elderly
citizens lack the physical or financial means to maintain a safe and
healthy home. Our goals
are to gather appropriate funding and supplies, organize volunteers,
and implement the repair of homes for the elderly over the weekend
of February
25-26th, 2006. By doing so, we hope to
increase the awareness, support and care for those elderly in need
within our community by making their homes a happier, healthier and
safer place to live.
