Mr. Allison has a special interest in languages and cultures.  He has spent time in Mexico, India and China.  In 2004, he had the privilege of being involved in a pilot project to introduce the PA profession to the United Kingdom.  One of the goals of the project was to look at the model of the Physician Assistant as a solution to the manpower shortage problems in the UK.  Living in England for two years, afforded him personal experience with socialized medicine in an emergency room setting and exposure to people from all over the world.  Mr. Allison is excited about being a part of the UTHSCSA PA program due to its commitment to the Latino culture, service to the community and concern for the underserved.
