Judith E. Colver, PA-C, MMS an Assistant Professor and Associate Chair has been with UTHSCSA since before the beginning of the current PA program in 2000. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and her PA certificate from U.S. Air Force PA Program in 1981. She then continued to an Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Madigan Army Medical Center in 1993 and earned her masters degree from Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania in 1994. In addition to being the 1989 recipient of the U.S. Army Surgeon General PA Recognition Award, she led the Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants as President from 1998-2001. In 2001 the Association of PA Programs presented her with the New Faculty of the Year Award. She served on the American Academy of Physician Assistants House of Delegates Reference Committee B for three of the last four years. With 15 years of experience as a PA working for the military, and 2 1/2 years at Scott & White Clinic at College Station, she continues to serve the community working in the Acute Care Clinic at University Health Clinics-Downtown in San Antonio.
