The first annual alumni picnic was held this past June at UTHSCSA. We were pleased to see alumni and their families from the first class of 1980 to the most recent incoming class of 2008! Kids (and kids at heart) played in the moon bounce while everyone enjoyed free food, drink, and activities courtesy of Horizon Foods (thank you Norma Ford ‘04). The PTAA is fortunate to have the ability to use UTHSCSA’s great outdoor pavilion and sports fields. Over the next few years, we plan to resurrect some friendly interclass competition on these fields. Expect an alumni picnic at the beginning of every Summer. The alumni picnic will always be free to our PTAA members and their families. We hope that events like this will generate mentorship and future career opportunities for our students. The PTAA is very proud to foster such a relationship between young students and our experienced PT alumni.
