The members of the Special Events Council (SEC) are a dedicated group of individuals devoted to making the lives of our UT Health Science Center community better by volunteering, planning, organizing and sponsoring community-building activities. Our mission is to develop good interdepartmental relationships between employees through community volunteering and networking, and to provide and encourage a positive atmosphere by 
sponsoring events that involve staff, faculty and students.
The Special Events Council, with the help of other departments, had a successful drive that benefited 12 families. (read more).
