POST-BACCALAUREATE CERTIFICATES IN CLS
The Post-baccalaureate Certificate Programs are designed for students who hold a bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited college or university and have met all science and math program requirements. The Generalist Certificate curriculum consists of a combination of courses and practicums from all disciplines of clinical laboratory sciences. Categorical Certificates are available in Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry, Immunohematology, and Hematology. These certificate programs are designed for students who are interested in working in one specific laboratory discipline. Science prerequisites not completed as part of the degree can be completed during the professional phase. Graduates are eligible to take categorical certification examinations. Students should meet with a CLS faculty member to develop an academic plan.
