The UT Health Science Center San Antonio, Department of Emergency Health Sciences, has immediate openings for 2 part-time faculty positions at the rank of Clinical Instructor. The positions will be responsible for clinical preceptor activities and skills lab instruction for all levels of EMT students. Requirements include: Current Texas EMT-P certification; 2 yrs formal teaching experience; 2 yrs experience in advanced pre-hospital emergency care. Bachelor’s Degree and Texas EMS-Instructor certification preferred.

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), Department of Emergency Health Sciences, is recruiting for a part-time faculty position as an Lecturer or Clinical Instructor. Appointed faculty academic rank and title will commensurate with experience and/or education. Primary duties include field evaluation and classroom instruction of EMS paramedics. Requirements for the position: Texas Certified Paramedic or Registered Nurse; 3 years emergency/critical care or 911 pre-hospital experience; 2 years of teaching experience. Prefer Bachelor’s Degree, Texas EMS or NAEMSE Instructor certification, BCLS/ ACLS, PHTLS Instructor certification.
