The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), Department of Emergency Health Sciences, is recruiting for one full-time or part-time faculty position to be filled as a Lecturer or Specialist, appointed faculty academic rank and title commensurate with experience and/or education. Primary duties include classroom instruction, clinical preceptor activities and skills lab instruction for all levels of EMT students/healthcare professional activities. Requirements for these positions are: Current Texas EMT-P certification or licensure; AHA certifications in BLS, PALS and ACLS; 2 years EMS teaching experience/2 years emergency pre-hospital or emergency department experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree, Texas EMS Instructor certification, BCLS/ACLS/PALS, PHTLS, and PEPP Instructor certifications.
