Physical Therapy

The Department of Physical Therapy now offers a transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (T-DPT) Program
This transitional program offers a modified version of the current DPT program to practicing therapists who graduated with a Master or Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree as their entry-level professional degree. We will begin accepting applications for our January 2013 class on July 1, 2012, with an application deadline of November 1, 2012.

Application and Admissions Requirements for the T-DPT Program

Bachelor’s degree-prepared physical therapists applying for admission into the T-DPT program may request a waiver of two courses: Clinical Research and Current Issues in Musculoskeletal, Neurologic, Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy and Orthotics and Prosthetics. To request a waiver for one or both of these courses, a portfolio must be submitted to the TDPT Program Director. Click here for more information.
