The Respiratory Care Alumni Association Distinguished Alumnus Award

Each Spring at the annual RCAA Meeting and Banquet, the association will recognize one alumnus and member for distinguished service to the RCAA, the UTHSCSA Department of Respiratory Care, or the field of Respiratory Therapy.

 

Requirements for the award are posted below, and nominations must be received by the first of February of each calendar year.

Individuals will be considered who:

  1. Have been nominated by a current Active or Honorary member.
  2. Have demonstrated excellence as a Respiratory Therapist through contributions to the RCAA, UTHSCSA Department of Respiratory Care, or the field of Respiratory Therapy in general.
  3. Maintain a current membership in the RCAA for the award year.

Winners will be decided by a majority vote of the RCAA Executive council.
