Robert G. Brzyski, MD, PhD

Dr. Brzyski received his Ph.D. in 1981 and his M.D. in 1983 from St Louis University, in Missouri. He completed his residency training at Yale New Haven Hospital, in Connecticut in 1987, and completed a fellowship at the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Norfolk, Virginia, in 1989. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He joined our faculty in 1993 as Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2001. Dr. Brzyski directs the Fellowship Program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and heads the Women's Health Initiative Clinical Center. He also heads the Assisted Reproductive Technology program and has interests in menopause, polycystic ovary syndrome and ethics.

Robert S. Schenken, MD

Dr. Schenken assumed the position of Chairman in 2002. He holds the rank of Professor and the Humana Foundation Distinguished Chair in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Schenken completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in 1977 and concluded his residency training at UTHSCSA. He completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health, Pregnancy Research Branch, in 1982. He then rejoined our department as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Schenken was the Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from 1986 until 2002. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. His special interests include endometriosis and ovarian physiology.

Witz, MD

Craig A Witz, MD

Dr. Witz received his M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, and completed his residency here in 1992 and his Fellowship in Endocrinology/Infertility in 1994. Dr. Witz became Division Chief in 2002. He holds the Frank Harrison Chair in Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Witz is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. His special interests include clinical infertility, reproductive endocrinology, and contraception.
