Telecommunications & Networking provides pager rental service. Please contact Customer Services at ext. 7-2061 for further information.
Long-Term Rental of Pagers
- Requests for long-term rental of pagers or pager service should be submitted via a Telecommunications & Networking Service Request Form (SRF). Please include type of pager (numeric or alpha numeric) and type of service (local, statewide, nationwide).
- Charges for pager service
- The rental of the pager and pager service is handled by Telecommunications & Networking. After activation, the pager number is assigned to the requesting department. All charges are billed monthly to the department on the Telecommunications & Networking Inter-Department Transfer (IDT). The monthly charges are calculated on a cost recovery basis.
- The department will be held responsible for replacement of the pager if lost, stolen and/or damaged.
- Training - A user guide for each pager will be provided when the pager is delivered.
- Help - Problems associated with a pager should be reported to Telecommunications & Networking Customer Services at ext. 7-2061. Reporting of problems will assist our staff in maintaining a quality pager service for the University.
