Telecommunications & Networking maintains a cable system throughout the University. The extensive cable backbone system allows for the installation of telephones, alarms, intercoms, data circuits, and special circuits to anywhere on the University campus. The standard cable installed for telephones on campus is Category 5--four pair, twisted, and unshielded. Any request for installation of cable can be made by submitting a SRF.
