The telephone switchboard operators can assist customers in a variety of ways:

• Telephone conference bridging for up to fourteen parties, local and long distance.
• Callers are connected to foreign language translators upon request.
• A tabletop audioconferencing system that provides for small to medium applications.
• A TDD device is located in the Briscoe Library and University Police to assist the hearing impaired.
