Network Fault Isolation Tree: NetFIT


The aim of NetFIT is to assist you in the process of isolating the fault in the network prior to calling the help desk. This will speed up the troubleshooting process by directing you to call either Computing Resources Triage or T&N Customer Services.

In each case, NetFIT will have you call a help desk to report the problem. The problem it asks you to report may or MAY NOT be the exact trouble you experienced. It would be beyond the scope of this tool to resolve every issue. Please report the problem that NetFIT discovers IN ADDITION to your original problem. In many cases, your problem will be a symptom of a more complex issue. By using this tool, you will enable the help desk personnel to quickly resolve your problem.

Let's begin troubleshooting .
If you make a selection and you wish to change it before you submit, simply select the other answer. If you submit your answer and would like to return to the previous page to select another choice use the "back" button on the bottom of the page.
