SECC Online Donor Instructions - United eWay

Make a difference!

Welcome to your online pledging experience! Follow these instructions to ensure that you will have a successful and hassle-free method of giving back to your community. Thank you for supporting the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC)!

For online donations, you are encouraged to view the tutorial (html 3:16 minutes) or print step-by-step instructions before donating online (see tip). If you prefer to the paper pledge contact your SECC coordinator for assistance.

Proceed with these instructions, when ready click Donate Now to begin donating online (e-way).

1. Login:
   To login to the United eWay system.
   
   • Enter the Campaign Code: UTHSCSA2007
   • Username: Your NT login name
   • Password: UTHSCSAmmdd (where 'mm' and 'dd' are month and day of your birthday)
   All Usernames and Passwords are case-sensitive so please check your Caps Lock! After login is complete, you should be directed to UTHSCSA's personalized eWay web site.

2. Home page:
   Welcome to your United eWay web site! Please take the time to read and explore this page as it can provide you with details about your 2007 charitable campaign.

3. Pledge Now:
   We hope by this point you have taken the time to learn about the SECC's valuable community programs or identified the non-profit agency of your choice. You are ready to generously make a pledge to your community! To make your online pledge simply:

   1. Click on the "Pledge Now" icon in the upper left-hand column of your screen.
   2. Select the method by which you wish to make your gift. The SECC offers you the option of giving in the method you find most convenient: Payroll Deduction or Credit Card. Click "Continue".
   3. This brings you to the page that allows you to select your payment type. If you chose to give by Payroll Deduction, please select the amount per paycheck you wish you have deducted or fill-in your own amount. If you wish you donate by credit card please submit your credit card information and select "Continue".

4. Invest Your Contribution:
   You now have the opportunity to choose how you wish you invest your contribution. Please use the following steps:

   1. Select "Locate an Agency" at the bottom of the screen.
   2. Select a Federation: choose to designate to one of the SECC's federations.
   3. Choose a specific agency within a federation to receive a portion of your donation. United eWay will allow up to 6 agency designations. Click "Continue".

5. Confirmation Screen:
   Please look at this screen carefully! Confirm that your pledge information is correct and please fill out the required fields. To complete your contribution you must click "Submit Donation". If you desire a receipt of your contribution for your records, click on "Print Pledge Summary.
   Made a mistake? Click the "Return to Contribution" Icon to return to the previous page.

6. Thank You!
