To help celebrate its 50th anniversary, the UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing is seeking nominations of nurses for a new Visionary Leader Award.
As part of its 50th anniversary in 2019, the school will “recognize individuals who have made significant contributions in the development and advancement of nursing education, practice and community engagement,” said Eileen Breslin, Ph.D, RN, FAAN, professor and dean of the School of Nursing.
Nominees may be living or deceased and need not be alumni of UT Health San Antonio. Self-nominations also are encouraged. All nominations must be received no later than Aug. 31.
Award recipients will be honored at the 50th Anniversary Open House and Award Ceremony on Saturday, March 2, 2019.
