Special Events Coordinator

The Special Events Coordinator (SEC) is responsible to the Office Manager and the SEC's duties and responsibilities are to manage special parking arrangements for any special events.  The Special Events Coordinator is also responsible to assist with other requests such as security for an event and/or help with any transportation needs.  When planning an event that requires guests to park on campus all departments should submit a special events parking information worksheet ten (10) days prior to the event.  This should be submitted to the Special Events Coordinator.  If this request requires an officer or parking arrangements an account number must be provided on the worksheet.  An IDT will be sent following the event.

An alcohol permit must be on file with the University Police department prior to any event where alcohol is being served.  For every 150 guests an officer will be assigned for security at an extra charge to the department.

To assure that your event and your guests visit to the campus are handled in a most professional manner "remember" to send in your special events parking information worksheet in plenty of time.
