Career Talk: Aug 5th at 3pm with Dr. Genevieve Croft, Analyst in Agricultural Policy, Congressional Research Service and former AAAS Fellow and White House Intern.
Dr. Genevieve Croft is an Agricultural Policy Analyst at the Congressional Research Service (CRS), where she provides Congress with information and analyses relating to agriculture, climate change, research, and biotechnology. Prior to CRS, Dr. Croft worked for three years in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of the Chief Scientist, where her broad portfolio included managing U.S. Government participation in the Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases. Dr. Croft has also worked in science policy at the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, as an AAAS Science & Technology Fellow at the U.S. Agency for International Development, as a Graduate Intern at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and as a Christine Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Academy of Sciences. She has a Ph.D. in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, and a B.S. in Biology from Georgetown University.
