featuring Judith Grisel, PhD

Zoom (online, register below)
Isolation impacts us all, but what happens when it's compounded with managing an addiction? While routines are disrupted, we may find ourselves more vulnerable to falling into old habits - or developing new ones. In this session, neuroscientist and recovering addict, Dr. Judith Grisel, will help you understand the impact isolation has on addiction and what to do when you recognize yourself, a friend or loved one struggling. Then, using this knowledge, she will explore ways to be better prepared should we need to periodically isolate in the future.
We're thrilled that this talk is in addition to Dr. Grisel's October 22, 2020 lecture, Never Enough: The Neuroscience & Experience of Addiction, at the Pearl Stable.
