Faculty

The Molecular Immunology and Microbiology (MIM) discipline faculty use cutting-edge approaches including genome-editing by CRISPR-Cas9, systems biology, deep sequencing, flow cytometry, confocal imaging, microbiome profiling and single cell technologies. The MIM discipline faculty includes 23 primary faculty, 14 cross-appointed faculty from multiple departments, and 7 faculty from the Texas Biomedical Research Institute. Importantly, nine new tenure-track faculty have recently been added to our roster of faculty, adding additional high energy and expertise to MIM’s program of study and research that is tailored to the interests of each individual student in our discipline.
