Haley L. Nation, Ph.D.

Associate Professor

Department of Cell Systems and Anatomy

As a classically trained Anatomist, Dr. Nation teaches various basic science disciplines to future health care professionals, including gross anatomy, histology, neuroanatomy, and embryology. She teaches Medical, Dental, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, Occupational Therapy, and Masters of Anatomy students. As an educator, she works diligently to adapt the content and presentation of the material according to the student’s career path and goals.   In addition to her educational commitments, Dr. Nation also has a particular interest in research projects involving anatomical variations and conducting medical education research including the integration of new educational tools into the current curriculum.
