Zhu Wang, PhD

Associate Professor

Zhu Wang, Ph.D., is associate professor of Department of Population Health Sciences at University of Texas Health San Antonio. He received his BS in Applied Mathematics, MS in Statistics and Ph.D. in Statistics from SMU. Following two postdoctoral fellowships at University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center. His research has focused on development of predictive modeling, methodology and its applications in public health. He is a recipient of Charles H. Hood Foundation Child Health Research Award.

Dr. Wang was a faculty member at Yale School of Medicine and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
