M.S. in Immunology & Infection

The Master of Science degree in the Immunology & Infection program is designed for those students interested in a career that will require an elevated level of expertise and experience in basic immunology and microbiology, host-pathogen interaction, microbial pathogenesis, and cancer immunology. Typical students include people who are already in the workforce and desire additional training, students who have just completed their undergraduate degree and want specialized training, students who want additional graduate training before committing to a specific career path (research, medicine, industry), and students who are in need of improved academic credentials before applying to Ph.D., M.D., or D.D.S. programs. The program is designed to be completed in two years and includes coursework and laboratory work, which culminates in a thesis.
