Christine Burke, Ph.D., M.B.A.

Assistant Director, Commercialization, University of Texas San Antonio

Dr. Christine Burke is the Assistant Director of Commercialization for the University of Texas San Antonio.

Career path

Before moving to Texas and joining the OTTC in 2007, Dr. Burke worked at the University of California’s System-wide Office of Technology Transfer for over four years. At the University of California, she helped create her position as their first Strategic Marketing and Communications Manager, and developed new outreach programs to help companies navigate the ten-campus system. Before moving to the field of technology transfer, Dr. Burke was a founding employee of the laboratory services start-up company, LabVelocity.
