Celin E. Duran, D.D.S.

Dr. Celin Duran is from Silver Spring, Maryland. He attended Brigham Young University where he received his bachelor’s degree in business management in 2018. He attended dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received his D.D.S. in 2022, graduating with honors and ranked among the top 5% of his class. He was honored by induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and was awarded the Susan P. Foy Award For Excellence in Clinical Research in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Duran discovered his interest for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery shortly before dental school while shadowing an oral surgeon near his university. Since he had always felt drawn to both medicine and dentistry, OMS felt like a career that brought together all his interests. He is passionate about improving the quality of life of his patients and to eventually be able to teach and mentor future generations of Oral Surgeons. 

He began his residency at UT Health San Antonio in 2022 and is expected to receive his M.D. in 2025.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, building memories with them, and watching movies.
