As Co-PI for HRSA grant, our task involved coordinating collaboration with consortium of representatives from the four states along the U.S. / Mexico border . The grant focus was on coordinating local state meetings of partner agencies and organizations within each state. Best Practices" were presented for programs from each state at end of year annual meeting for all border states.

Master`s in Public Health Administration concentrated on Minority health issues, primarily children but also included geriatric populations.

Provided testimonies and presented on International studies of shared common border health issues between U.S. and Mexico
|International Dental Mission Trip Coordinator/Spea -
Planned, coordinated and lead medical and dental mission teams into Mexico, El Salvador , Nicaragua, and Honduras . Supervising and working alongside dental students dental residents and OMS fellows in the delivery of medical and dental care in jungles, hospitals and schools of these countries. Have also provided similar efforts through short term mission trips within the U.S. along the Rio Grande border "colonias" area in Texas./ Conference speaker Hispanic Dental Association 2006 Washington D.C./2010 San Diego on planning and coordinating foreign dental mission trips.
|Migrant Children Dental Care -
Over 28 years experience as Director of School-based Migrant farm-worker children`s dental care program:Twenty of those years spent supervising fourth year dental students in an unconventional environment to deliver dental treatment through an urgent care model and a system of re-care utilizing dental mobile-van program.
|US / Mexico Border Health Commission Member -
As a member of this predominantly medical organization and being the only U.S. dentist , my focus was on education on the importance of oral health. NIH and HRSA directives on border health issues guided our direction and approach to prevention and disease control .
