Course Director - These Summer, Fall and Spring courses offer the student an opportunity to review the literature and to design and complete a laboratory or clinical research project under the direction of a faculty advisor. Students are enrolled in a Master of Science degree program and are expected to collect and analyze data for a thesis, which must be defended, as the culmination of research efforts. Summer course is 6097, Fall and Spring courses are 5097. As Course Director, I manage oversight of all resident research activities. I also serve as Chair of the Periodontics Department`s Committee on Graduate Studies.
