Selina Fuentes, third-year doctoral of dental surgery student, President of the Hispanic Student Dental Association, was named the recipient of the Crest Oral B Scholarship by the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) and The Procter & Gamble Company. The scholarship is awarded to predoctoral dental students who are committed to pursuing a career in academics.
Second-year doctoral of dental surgery student, Samantha J. Whitten, was awarded the national Tylenol Future Care Scholarship. The scholarship is given to students pursuing careers in health care.
