EHS Full-time Lecturer, Clinical Instructor or Assistant Professor/Clinical

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), Department of Emergency Health Sciences, is recruiting for a full-time faculty position to be filled as a Lecturer, Clinical Instructor, or Assistant Professor/Clinical, appointed faculty academic rank and title commensurate with experience and/or education. Primary duties include: classroom and web-based instruction; clinical supervision of EMT and Paramedic students; teaching AHA life-support courses; and testing EMS skills using criteria from NREMT. Some evening and/or weekend work may be necessary. Requirements for this position: Current DSHS and/or NREMT Paramedic certification; Texas EMS-Instructor certification preferred; 2 years formal teaching exp.; 3 years in advance pre-hospital or hospital emergency care. Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
