Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology accreditation information
The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097, to award certificates and baccalaureate, master's, doctoral, and professional degrees. The institution was last reviewed and reaffirmed in 2008. The institution's accreditation extends through 2018 and includes all programs offered on the institution's main campus as well as those offered at all extended program sites.

The master's program in Speech-Language Pathology at UT Health San Antonio is a Candidate for Accreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. This is a “pre-accreditation” status with the CAA, awarded to developing or emerging programs for a maximum period of five years (2017-2022).
