I have been involved with the public safety profession since 1987 and have been a Nationally Licensed Paramedic since 1990. I have had the privilege of working in various roles and capacities as an educator and a clinician in both the United States and internationally. I have managed and coordinated specific medical and safety education programs for both private and governmental organizations. I have earned an Associate of Science Degree, in Fire Science and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) Degree in Homeland Security from Columbia Southern University and I am currently a Master of Public Administration in Emergency and Disaster Management student at Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY) completing early 2021.
Additionally, I am a graduate of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Basic Emergency Management Academy, the Advance and Professional Development programs, the Continuity of Operations (COOP) Level 1, the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP), Incident Command System (ICS) instructor program. Additionally, I am a certified instructor with the State of California Fire Marshal (CSFM) 1A-1C and a Level 2 National EMS Instructor with the National Association of Emergency Medical Educators (NAEMSE).
