All applicants must complete science courses from science curriculum and complete prerequisites. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Two reference letters completed by former instructors (preferably science instructors) or employers
  • Personal interview with faculty

  • Completion of the Allied Health Centralized Application Service (AHCAS) online 
  • AHCAS fee

* General or Human Physiology (3 SCH), OR Human Anatomy and Physiology I & II (BIOL 2301 & BIOL 2302) sequence (6 SCH).

Future prerequisite/ Admissions changes:
3 semester credit hours Biochemistry (upper division) will be required for the 2021-2022 application cycle. These admission modifications will only extend to new applicants for enrollment in the fall of 2022 or later.

Transcripts

Official transcripts from each college/university currently and previously attended reflecting completed and in progress coursework. 

Transcripts from institutions outside the United States must be submitted in the original language and must be accompanied by a  NACES Members evaluation agency English translation for each course.

International Applicants

Submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores; minimum scores 560 (paper) or 80 (Internet).
