Texas Infectious Diseases COVID-19 Virtual Symposium - Enduring Material

Course Description

Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, we were unfortunately not able to host our normal in-person meeting earlier this month. However, we believe there is a great interest and need for ID clinicians from across the state to receive expert guidance and updates on the latest regarding the epidemiology and management of this disease in a variety of settings.

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational goals of physicians and other healthcare professionals specializing in infectious diseases, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and all those involved with the management of patients with the coronavirus.

Physician Participation

Upon completion of viewing the online presentation, please follow the instructions at the end of the presentation to complete the evaluation. Once the evaluation is completed, the user will be provided the option to print their certificate.

Continuing Medical Education Credit - Accreditation Statement

The Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Long School of Medicine designates this enduring material for a maximum of 3.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Certificate of Attendance
Healthcare professionals will receive a certificate of attendance and are asked to consult with their licensing board for information on applicability and acceptance.

Credit may be obtained upon successful completion of the activity’s evaluation.

Release date: September 11, 2020     Credits expire: September 11, 2023
