If you love to teach, UT Health Science Center Graduate Medical Education Programs may be a great fit!

Residents and fellows at UT Health San Antonio have an important role as educators for medical students and junior residents. They serve as teachers, role models and leaders.

Interested residents and fellows may participate in UT Health San Antonio’s Clinician Educator Track (CET). This is a multidisciplinary track designed for residents and fellows who have an interest in improving their own skills as educators.

Participants in this track attend monthly seminars sponsored by the Office of Graduate Medical Education. These are offered at different days/times in the month to maximize participation. Expert educators at UT Health San Antonio share their knowledge in these interactive sessions. Examples of session topics include:

Each Graduate Medical Education program determines who qualifies to participate in the track and the specific requirements for successful completion.

If you are not sure the program you are applying to participates in the Clinician Educator Track, feel free to ask the Program Director or Program Coordinator.
