Event Details:
The Mays Cancer Center and Dr. Amelie G. Ramirez of UT Health San Antonio are excited to host the third bi-annual Advancing the Science of Cancer in Latinos conference, Feb. 23-25, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas!

Did you know Latinos are expected to face a 142% rise in cancer cases in the coming years? This conference comes at a critical time to address the disparities that continue to plague the Latino population: access to care, risk factor behaviors, mortality and quality of life.

Unite under one roof with researchers, scientists, physicians, healthcare professionals and families of patients from around the world to:

  • Learn the latest research advancements in Latino cancer
  • Identify gaps and further disparities
  • Develop actionable goals that translate basic research into clinical best practices

Be part of the change and register now! You’ll develop new skills to apply the latest Latino cancer advanced practices and research into your own work, and help us foster more collaboration, research and success in improving the health and lives of Latinos!

Visit www.LatinoCancer.org for full event details and registration information.
