Laura B. Barnes, M.D.

Assistant Professor/Clinical

Dr. Barnes received her bachelor degree from Rice University in Houston, TX, and her medical degree from UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. She remained in Dallas for her radiology training and completed her residency at UT Southwestern. After completing her fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina, she joined the UT Health San Antonio faculty in 2017. Dr. Barnes enjoys all facets of Interventional Radiology, but she has developed a particular interest in women’s imaging and intervention including minimally invasive treatments for uterine fibroids and pelvic venous disease.
