Robert Maximos, M.D.

Dr. Robert Maximos is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Maximos specializes in Interventional Pulmonology and lung cancer diagnoses and management. He received his Doctor of Medicine in 2007 at St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine. He completed residency in Internal Medicine as well as fellowship in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He completed his fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology at Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts. Dr. Maximos completed additional interventional Pulmonology training in Germany and Spain, with special focus on rigid bronchoscopy, endobronchial stenting and thoracoscopy. Dr. Maximos is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine and Interventional Pulmonology.
