  • Research & Grants

    My long-term research seeks to understand the molecular & epigenetic mechanisms of signal-regulated gene expression in the development of cancer and other diseases. We make extensive use of a set of integrated biochemical, genomics and molecular oncology approaches to tackle the broad and critical questions on the topic of gene regulation and cancer. 

  • Publications

    • Enhancer reprogramming driven by high-order assemblies of transcription factors promotes phenotypic plasticity and breast cancer
    • A non-canonical role of YAP/TEAD is required for activation of estrogen-regulated enhancers in breast cancer
    • Enhancer RNAs mediate estrogen-induced decommissioning of selective enhancers by recruiting ERα and its cofactor
