Daniel A. Johnson, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, uveitis, and ocular inflammatory disease. His areas of expertise include corneal surgery, including corneal transplants, ocular surface tumors, cataract surgery, corneal and conjunctival infections; and ocular inflammatory disease including uveitis, scleritis, and keratitis. Dr. Johnson is integrally involved in the teaching of medical students and residents. His research interests include amniotic membrane grafting, pterygium surgery, and healthcare disparities in Bexar County.
