Barbara Kate Neuhoff, M.D.

Specialist Fellow

Dr. Neuhoff received her Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating with Honors in French and Medicine, Health and Society, with a minor in Theater. During that time she also worked in a research lab in the department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, studying the immunology and pathogenesis of the human metapneumovirus. She then worked for three years in the Department of Development and Alumni Relations at Vanderbilt, where she served as a gift agreement writer for the College of Medicine. She then attended the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis and received her MD in 2016. She completed her residency training at Louisiana State University in New Orleans in 2020. During residency, her research focused on comparing ultrasound modalities in the evaluation of cervical length, and she presented her findings at national conferences. She also initiated an interdisciplinary quality improvement project on the diagnosis and management of chorioamnionitis. She is a member of ACOG, SMFM, IDOSG, and AIUM. Dr. Neuhoff joined the faculty as a Specialist and is currently completing her fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Her clinical and research interests include infectious diseases, PPROM, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, quality improvement, and resident education.
