Assistant Professor / Clinical
Dr. James Saca is board certified in Internal Medicine, and practices as a Hospitalist at University Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2015, and completed his internal medicine residency training at UTHSCSA in June 2019. In September 2019, he joined the Long School of Medicine clinical faculty as an Assistant Clinical Professor, working with medical students and resident physicians during their hospital wards rotations. He has been recognized by the Long School of Medicine clerkship program for his excellence in teaching, both as an Outstanding Resident and an Outstanding Faculty member.
